Welcome

Dear Prospective Princeton Families,

What joy there is in being a part of a Christian school!  When a school is able to recognize God as central to everything in our lives, including and particularly education, the school community becomes the blessing it was designed to be. Our school partners with parents as they approach instruction, discipline, and daily life from a biblical perspective. We welcome you to Princeton Preparatory Schools.

Most essentially, we recognize the biblical mandate for parents to educate their children, and to train them up in the way of the Lord (Deuteronomy 11:19). For this reason, Princeton Preparatory Schools works closely with each child’s parents to understand each student’s individual needs and strengths. Ongoing, open communication between school and home is essential for maximum learning to take place.

If you have found your way to our website, you are a seeker. Those already in our family have come to Princeton for many different reasons, but in general I think we have come here to declare our independence. Ours is a dynamic community where children in 3 year age ranges share the same classroom setting and values in a lovely home like environment - where the quest for balance is woven into the intrinsic fabric of our mission. Our outstanding teachers and beautiful school with excellent facilities add to the overall quality of the Princeton experience. We celebrate our students for who they are as individuals and for their contributions to the group. Learning at Princeton Preparatory Schools is active, alive, contextual and relevant. Through our Montessori curriculum, students develop the skills and habits of lifelong learners. Grounded in their identities and guided by Christian values, Princeton Preparatory Schools is a place where students thrive.
As you navigate our website, I invite you to picture yourself at our school. Picture your child in our nurturing, attentive, and supportive learning environment. Picture your family connected to our strong, vibrant community. Imagine your child at our school, engaged in playful learning, ethics-based conversations, deep intellectual work and curious exploration. Picture your family as part an international thriving community with over 25 countries represented that embraces the uniqueness of each family.

It is a privilege and honor for me to work with and support this outstanding school. I invite you to come tour our campus. We look forward to welcoming you in person and experiencing for yourself the joy of learning that happens at Princeton Preparatory Schools. Welcome Home!
To Great Beginnings,

Faith Wangunyu
Head of School

Statement of Faith

We have developed this statement of faith to explain our position so that those who partner with us to educate a child can do so with clarity and peace of mind.

Princeton Preparatory Schools is committed to biblical Christian education and to the literal, grammatical, historical interpretation of the Word of God on which the following statement of faith is based:

1) To love God the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit
2) To love others
3) To serve others

Mark 12:30-31
30 And you shall love the Lord your God with all your heart, with all your soul, with all your mind, and with all your strength.’ this is the first commandment. 31 And the second, like it, is this: ‘You shall love your neighbor as yourself.’ There is no other commandment greater than these.”

Best kept secret in preschools/lower elementary! So blessed to have found and entrusted our 4 year old granddaughter to this loving, inspiring and well equipped school. Top notch environment, excellent materials and most importantly, helpful caring and highly qualified administration and teachers. We love Princeton Prep!

Susan Coleman Dickerson

My son started Princeton when he was 3 and he just turned 4. We initially toured over 5 schools but after our tour here we knew this was the school for us. The atmosphere was inviting, and the children very calm. We are amazed at how much he has developed and his teacher has been the best. We plan to keep our son in the elementary program.

The teachers care about the students and go above and beyond! My son's teacher Mrs. Melissa, is so sweet and patient and truly has so much knowledge about Montessori. She truly resembles what a Montessori teacher should be like. I am extremely happy to have found this school and blessed that my son has the opportunity to attend.
